- Well, you're wrong. If you meant only comp.lang.cobol, you'd still be
- wrong; as long as there are job newsgroups, jobs do not belong in other
- groups. This is the basic principle of the hierarchy; the most relevant
- group is the topical one.

- for ads, let alone for job postings. When we want jobs, we read
- misc.jobs.offered, or misc.jobs.contract. When I am not reading a
- job newsgroup, I am presumed uninterested in jobs, and should not
- be subjected to some lazy headhunter's latest way to skimp on the
- effort.
